Thy will be done

Thy will be done O Lord

Obedience to do Thy will

Wisdom to know Thy will.

 

Mercy to carry out Thy will

Grace to embrace Thy will

Love to complete Thy will.

 

Patience to live in Thy will

Faith to walk in Thy will

Hope to finish Thy will.

 

The gentle Cross to walk in Thy will

Total surrender to Thy will.

 

 To wake up in the morning, submerged in Thy will

To die to self so that Thy will be done.

 

Happy is the Christian that lives in Thy will

Happy is the Church that does Thy will

Happy is the marriage that prays for Thy will.

 

Happy is the Lord when we are seeking His will to be done.
