John 8:31-32
Have Faith in God. Mark 11:22Discipleship - Adherence to a teacher. Here, it is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Pastor/Teacher teaches us about the Word of God by doctrines. The Holy Spirit can also teach us by the Word of God.
A disciple needs to be teachable!
- We should live in a state of honoring God's Word.
- We should live in a state of awareness.
- We should live in a state of expectation.
- We should be thinking of heaven.
- We should be thinking of the lost.
- We should be thinking of the needs of others.
- We should be thinking on whatsoever is good, kind, lovely
- We should walk in the Light as He is in the Light.
- We should walk by faith not by sight.
- We should walk in love.
- We should walk in the finished work.
- We should run and not be weary.
- We should run and not be distracted.
- We should run and not be frustrated.
- We should run and not be fearful
- We should grow in the Grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- We should meditate on the Word of God day and night.
- We should learn the doctrines of the Word of God.
- "Doctrine- How God thinks on any given subject in the Word of God."
Doctrines of love, sin, forgiveness, grace, mercy, hope, obedience, joy, peace, eternal security, truth, hell, and many more.
- Jesus says "Follow Me."
Asking Christ Jesus to become your personal Savior, Lord and Master is the first step in the Kingdom of God.
