Have Faith in God. Mark 11:22

1. Is the love of God neutralized in your life by the way you think?
Philippians 4:8 should be our only standard, and to think less than that is wicked. All of our standards should be the Word of God (Matthew 4:4). Anything less than the Word of God is fleshly, worldly, and full of our own lust patterns that lead us astray.

2. The love of God can be neutralized by one negative thought.
For Love, (1 Cor. 13:5), thinks no evil. The Love of God thinks no evil. If you want to think evil, you will grieve the Holy Spirit and you will find yourself under the discipline of God. The first sign is discipline, then distance, then preoccupation with the details of life. The details of life will become more important than the Love of God. The details are now your god.

3. When the Love of God is neutralized in your life, you will seek other things outside of the perfect Will of God to make you happy. You are no longer satisfied with God's provisions, God's plan, God's promises and God's purpose for your life. You look elsewhere for your happiness. You look for something new.

4. The Bible says husbands love your wife, and wives love your husbands (Eph. 5:25, Titus 2:4) . If the Love of God has been neutralized in your life, you will not even open the door for your wife. You will think negative thoughts against her. One thought could be "The old gray mare is not what she used to be." All because you are grieving the Holy Spirit of God. Love will always treat your wife or husband with great respect.

5. When the Love of God is neutralized in one's life, we will walk by sight, depending on our own understanding, human reasoning, and human opinions. Human viewpoints will be our frame of reference, not the Cross of Christ, nor the Word of God. We will make excuses why we feel a certain way about things.

6. When the Love of God is neutralized in one's life, mercy has flown the coop, grace is hiding behind the clouds of doubt, hope went on vacation, joy is on the outside looking in, patience tripped and fell, peace is caught in the devil's snare, faith is replaced by fear, light has become darkness, and life has passed us by. All these things will occur the second the Love of God is neutralized in any believer's life.
One dart sent by the satanic kingdom will neutralize the Love of God when that person is a poor hearer, or a non-doer, or a lack luster prayer warrior.

God is love, God loves us, and God draws us with loving kindness.
Things that neutralize the Love of God are:
1. Judging others (Matt. 7:1)
2. gossip
3. discord among the brethren
4. bad attitudes
5. lying
6. lusting
7. pride
8. poor self image
9. feeding on ashes

Bible References (KJV)

Mark 12:30-31 And thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Galatians 5:22-26 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Colossians 3:12-16 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
