Subject: Son and Grandson
Please pray as God leads for my son (Jesse)25 and my grandson (Jason)7.
When Jesse gave his heart to Jesus this last summer Jesse expressed his desire
to have his son. My husband and I had been raising Jason for 1 1/2 years however
he has alot of history that has followed him that makes it extremely difficult
to raise his son by himself. Jason's mother (Amy)23 left him to live with his
father when Jason was only 3 years old. She is now about to finish up her 2 year
Prison sentence (drug related). Jason has had nothing but turmoil in his life.
Jesse has turned back to drugs. God was using him so much when he turned his
life over to Jesus. People in the community were commenting at what a change had
taken place in his life. But he lives with his brother and friend who do drugs
and drink. Jesse is unable to move out due to financial reasons and he has also
lost his drivers licence for 5 years due to a long history of reckless driving.
The home where they live is disgusting as no one cleans it at all. I have lost 2
days of work because I cannot function when I have so many worries. Please pray
for the safety of my grandson. I am about to call CPS but don't know if that is
the right decision. My husband is not willing to take on a grandchild
permanantly so I am in between a rock and a hard spot. I wish so much that he
was willing. He is an alcoholic so there are many issues. I know God is able to
do miracles. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to pray with me. The gates of
Hell shall not prevail.

Subject: Times of trouble and don't know what to do

Good afternoon,
My name is Jennifer and I'm a single mother of two and sorry to say, from poor
decisions on my part, an unwanted pregnancy on the way. I know that all babies
are a blessing, but I'm having a hard time finding any good in this. About a
month ago I took a huge leap of faith and quit a very good paying job in order
to persue a business on my own. I prayed long and hard about this decision and
felt at peace with it. Through this last month we have really struggled
financially but I must say that somehow, without any income coming in, He has
mysteriously provided all of our basic needs (sometimes showing His sense of
humor in the midst of it all). At this point however, I'm losing steam in my
faith, which is hard because I've always been a strong woman of unbreakable
faith. From reading scripture, I know that I'm going through the refining
process, much as gold is put through, but it's wearing on me. I was so
determined to make this business a success but am losing interest since no money
is coming in. I will say that I've been able to get the attention of some top
execs of some well known companies but nothing has come about yet. My request is
that you pray for us to make it. I'm in the process of losing our house if
something doesn't happen soon. As for the pregnancy, I made a big mistake in the
flesh and am paying for it now. As a child that grewup in an alcoholic and
abusive home, I've always felt as though God wanted me to work with troubled
young women. For some reason I feel as though my personal struggles with feeling
alone and empty with nowhere to turn while going through this, this pregnancy
will be used to lift up other women some day. I will be able to tell of my
personal battles with what to do. I have a passionate hate for abortion and
would never do it but I have to say that many people have encouraged me to do
so, even offering to pay for it. Even though its simply not an option for me,
I'd be lying if I said the thought didn't cross my mind. I feel strongly that
there is a spiritual battle going on in every area in my life, but I know that
if I hold fast, this is when big things happen. All I ask is that you please,
please keep my family and me in your prayers. I'm slowly losing heart and need
something to happen. I won't go into long details but something happened on
October 3rd that made me believe and have faith in a deal that would bring one
million dollars by November 3rd. I'm still believing in it. Thank you and God

encouragment to me.

Hi please pray for me. I have a fear and distrust of dentist. One dentist I went
to told me I needed a root canal which I didn't then she left a hole in my tooth
and kept cancelling appts to finsih the work and I had to go to another dentist
to have the tooth pulled. I don't have the best dental coverage and now one of
my teeth are chipping and I am afraid to go to the dentist. I am afraid I will
have to have another tooth pulled. Please pray that I will be able to keep my

concious about it. I take care of my teeth but the medication I take causes
tooth decay. I am really worried about my teeth. Please pray I will have the

Subject: Dual Lung Transplant Patient Critical!

Our friend, Kenny, a married father of 4 children, has suffered from a
debilitating lung disease since childhood. Last week, he was approved for a dual
lung transplant, which has been filled with complications resulting in his need
for a 2nd transplant. Here is the latest information on his condition:

Good Evening everybody...
And we continue to fight!!! Kenny had another up and down day. Around 2:00 p.m.
he took another decided turn for the worse and they called a code. The surgeons
then came down and they re-opened Kenny's chest right there in the ICU. They
were able to remove another large clot and that relieved the pressure on his
lungs and elevated his blood pressure back to normal. They were also able to
slow the bleeding from his chest by giving him Factor VII, a clotting factor
blood product, that was, when we left this evening, finally working and had
slowed the bleeding considerably. But, the lungs still are bleeding. His
ventilator settings were turned up today - He was no longer tolerating 50% on
the vent - he is back up to 60%.
So, things are still very tentative. He is scheduled to have that CAT Scan at
7:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Tonight, just moving him slightly was causing
problems with his blood pressure. He is just so fragile right now.
Prayer needs:
1. That he is able to remain stable throughout the evening.
2. That he tolerates being moved in the morning and transferred
from his bed to the Ct Scanner and back.
3. That the results of the CT Scan would show that he will be a
viable candidate for a second transplant.
4. And again, that above all, we would know the heart of God for
all of this, so that we pray the best we can and be the most
support to Dawn at this time.

Hi, I have 2 requests: One, I am suicidal sometimes. I have a mental illness
that causes this. Lots of stress pushes me over the edge into it. It does not
take much. I do not feel I can make it in life if anything more evil happens to

Hi, my name is Sandra and I am asking for prayer. Ever since I became ill, I
have been batttling my weight. I walk forty minutes each day and watch what I
eat but the medication I take for depression and bi polar keeps it on. I know
this because when I stop taking the medication I have lost all the weight and
was back down to my normal body weight. I don't know what else to do. I have a
thyroid condition and high blood pressure and tire after walking for almost an
hour each day. I can't get the weight off and suffer from back aches. My stomach
is always bloated as is my top part. I am so discouraged. I have been walking
everyday for two months and weigh the same. I am ready to go off my medication.
The doctors and I have tried everyone there is and I just want to give up. I
can't believe what these medications have done to my shape. Please pray that
Jesus will help me lose weight while staying on the meds. Without the medication
I become ill. please would you pray for me. I

Subject: my brother who has to have surgery
Gary has spent the last week, 6 hours a day getting blood treatments to raise
his depleting blood count so he can have his spleen removed on Oct.31st in hopes
(medically a 90 percent chance) of regaining his bodies abilty to keep his blood
count normal by removing the spleen. He has scar tissue from other operations
and so this will be a complex procedure. He is also having difficulty with
circulation in his legs after 2 recent carotoid artery operations and this is to
be addressed after the spleen is removed. He is currently having anxiety and
other problems from all.

Dear friends of Christ - my husband is self-employeed - he's a carpenter. We had
our own home - before the downfall of the market we had decided to apply for a
loan to build our own home and we were approved. So we put our first little
house on the market and it sold in 3 weeks! We were shocked it happened so fast.
As we accepted the offer and signed the papers we were told that due to the
market and all the forclosures - the banks withdrew the program and we no longer
could build. Okay - so we'll find a fixer-upper. We are now on our 4th lender -
the 3rd lender led us to believe it was just a matter of crossing T's and
dotting I's - we made an offer on a great fixer upper. With a $1000 promisary
note and the offer was accepted. The 3rd lender told us 2 days ago they would
have to decline our loan. We're now hoping and praying that through Jesus this
4th lender will help us back into a home. Soon our time will be up- we will
loose our earnest money which we'd happily call a loss - however the night before we were moving out of our old home -
someone stole my husbands work van - which was filled to the brim with all of
his work tools. We lost everything - I know that God is Great and Good - I know
he is with me now - but I appreciate the thought that someone else is rooting
for us - It's been a tough year - and I thank you for your prayers. God Bless

to get help from churches but there doesn't seem to be help. I believe in God,
and the word of God, but it just doesn't seem like God or anyone is there for
me. I don't feel like I can stand up and grow stronger, because I just keep
getting knocked down.

i believed for 10 yrs i was married to someone-but he was a
bigamist.marriage annulled last week (oct 15) in court. i am about to lose my
home of 20 years standing because due to paying his bills i have no money. i
really need help on so many levels. i have tried everything including prayer.
please help me. i am going to file charges against him next week (all felonies-
- bigamy, fraud, identity theft, defamation). i don't hate him in the least. i
just want to recover and get on with my life but. . .at this rate i am going to
be homeless, and soon.

Lili is an elderly woman who suffers from many, many health problems. I
saw Lili yesterday when I had to take her to the hospital. She is roughly around
300 lbs.
She has cellulitis in her left leg. Also, terrible foot problems. She can hardly
walk and that left leg is wheeping and purple with infection. She is in terrible
pain. Please keep her on the prayer chain for much, much healing.

Subject: Prayer Request for Light and Love in a Relationship
Please help us pray for a couple who is in serious need. The girl has
just found out that the woman who almost destroyed her relationship two years
ago has communicated with her mate again coming disguised as an "angel of
light". We know this is merciless spiritual warfare because things have really
started looking up for them recently...a real closeness. Please help us pray
that this woman go away completely and that all communication between them end.
He is nieve to this woman's "pleas for help" not seeing it for what it is. May
light flood his conscience and their relationship and evil be uncovered for what
it is. And would you also help us pray for the girl's peace because this has
opened up some seriously deep wounds for her? I know God is on their side but
she is feeling pretty low right now.

After 8 yrs of prayer a medical mission team is going from US to
Pakistan. The hosts pray for safety for their guests and they need physical
strength for themselves as well, as they have been working toward this with
little help. Along with the medical services in remote and impoverished areas
they will present the Gospel to a mostly Muslim crowd.

Subject: My mother

My mother is an alcoholic and 4 months ago god answered our prayers to
save her life by showing us a rehab she actually said "yes" to after 25 years of
abuse and addiction. Today I talked to her counselor and she said my mom is
wanting to leave rehab and go back to her addictions and abusive relationship. I
know that our only hope is for the lord to mend her heart and show her how to
live sober and deal with her emotions in other ways. I just ask for first her
salvation to be prayed for and then that she will be able, through god to stay
in rehab, it is a 2year program, and stay focused on her sobriety. Thank you so
very much, I can't begin to tell you how much this means to our family!
