I was in love with a girl called Rebecca, she had accepted my proposal and my parents spoke to her parents. Her parents rejected it. Now they are asking her to completly stop talking to me. I am getting into a depression. I know only prayer can help me thats why am submitting this request. My fiancee left me back in Sept. 2007 because he felt that he was head-over-heals with the resposibilities with being a step-dad and other trials we endured. I believe he still cares but he has moved on about 70%. He has or had a casual relationship with a girl at work and he also has had some pitfalls. He broke his sobriety on X-mas Eve night Dec. 2007 at my house. He also has been smoking pot alot and he stopped calling me beginning New Years 2008. He did call once to tell me that he lost his phone that\\'s why he\\'s was calling me from work. I have much concerns.
But, my spirit will not let me give up praying for him. I have been asking, seeking, and knocking. It is bringing me closer to God. It\\'s amazing! My prayer is that all the choises Richard makes it will be for the glory of the Lord. Whether it is bad or good. That God gets the glory in the end. I neither pray for good things to happen to him or neither bad things to happen because I do not know what God is doing behind the scenes in his life at the moment. I pray for God\\'s will to reveal itself and that we will take this time apart to work on self. I know that in the end God will restore us. I believe without a doubt that God allowed us to be in each others lives for a reason. I am determined and hopefull and prayerful for redemption and restoration and change and salvation for Rick and our relationship. That it will be to God\\'s honor.

We have a wonderful Christian family. We battled a very serious illness a few years ago with one of our children & ever since then my husband goes into these depressions. He works SOOO hard & can never seem to get ahead. He is self employed & took 3 months off to be with our daughter during her illness. Recently his work came almost to a stop so we are both trying to work extra to catch up. I pray mostly for him NOT to get depressed but instead look ahead. Would you please pray for me and my husband. I have a mother-in-law and sister-in-law who suffer depression and we are often on a wheel of ups and downs with them. They are both down and aggressive at the moment - placing demands and accusations that we believe are un-merited and making life really unpleasant for those who deal with them. My mother-in-law, in particular lacks self-esteem, and when she is \\'up\\' behaves quite sanctamoniously, but when the downs come, behaves like a toddler having a tantrum but with a bit more visciousness involved. It is really unpleasant to be around and makes us want to run away. However, if we distance ourselves for our own mental health\\'s sake, we are accused of neglect and all sorts of other things. No account or responsibility lies at their feet EVER. I am at a loss of how to deal with this. I just popped around to say hello, but after being made to feel unwelcome and guilty for having a nice day planned, left after only a few minutes. Whatever I do is wrong. If I don\\'t go, I am yelled at and blamed for issues in their lives - if I do go, I come away feeling stressed and depressed and guilty for having some order in my life. What do I do? I need God\\'s guidance on this. I need to feel a sense of confidence and strength from God alone that will counter-act their words and actions. I need to see past the words they spray at us to the real reason behind the behaviour. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome caused in part by a liver weakness (not hepatitis or cirrhosis, reason unknown). Please pray for healing of liver and CFS. Also, I have spent a lot of time near my fiancee since she had radioactive iodine treatment for overactive thyroid. CFS makes me more susceptible - please pray that I will suffer no harm from the radioactivity. Thank you.
