I know there are lots of extraordinary needs for prayer in the world and mine
may seem smaller compared to others who are in trials. However, I would like
some prayer for my son and his relationship with his father. I think it will
provide the healing and direction needed for his future. My son has been sort
of lost the last two years, making some decisions that have set him back,
starting with quitting HS the last semester of his senior year. Long story
short, it has been a struggle for him to get back on track. He is not into
drugs or any real issues like that, but his self esteem is certainly compromised
more that before and his Dad and I have a different way of addressing this. I
have tried to help and give him the benefit of the doubt, his Dad now thinks
it's time to let him fly alone and be accountable for his mistakes. I know he
still needs us, but he needs to stay in communication with not only me, but his
dad as well. I think he knows I may give in to emotion more. I pray everyday
for God's grace and guidance and the strength to endure whatever the plan may be
and that I do the right thing for him. I just want his father to get more
involved with solution lovingly and not always be judging. We are married for
30 years and I don't want this to affect us now, we need to be a good team along
with God. In Jesus' name I pray.

Dear All
“We are sad to inform you that Ursula Schmidt, an Interserve Partner at Tank
Hospital in Pakistan, died suddenly last week. She had had a stomach upset for
a few days but became unwell on Tuesday morning. She had tests and was
diagnosed with malaria and sent home where she had various visitors and calls
enquiring after her welfare. Becky last saw her about 6.30 when Ursula was
downloading emails and playing solitaire on her computer. When a friend took
over some plain rice around 8.30 she was dead in bed.
The funeral took place on Wednesday 12th and a large number of people from the
local community were there as well as all the staff of the hospital and many
others.
There have been many expressions of loss and sympathy from all over, eg one of
the suppliers to the hospital wants to donate to all the staff. There have been
items in several papers and on the Pashto service of Voice of America. The list
just goes on. Poignantly today, Ulla and co-worker Becky were due to receive an
award from the president (The President’s Award for Pride of Performance) having
been nominated by the local Superintendent of Police.
Ulla is survived by her mother, sister and brother. It has been a great
blessing that Renate (another partner) has been able to communicate with them
and with DMG (sending organisation). Please pray for them and for the Interserve
team in Pakistan who are grieving the loss of our dear friend and colleague.

[I was at Roemerstr 75, A-4020 Linz, Austria from the 1st July 1997 - 15th April
2007 and before that in the Harrachstrasse in Linz]
broke my shoulder, nose, tooth and rib in a collision with a racing cyclist on
the 8th April close to my home. Arthritis is now painful also toothache.
Just out of hospital aftera bad allergic reaction to a wasp sting.

Alycia Gavin, 20-Years-Old, Motorcycle Accident
Plaistow, Mass – Alycia Gavin remains in critical condition after being ejected
from a motorcycle. Gavin was riding on the back of a motorcycle driven by Robert
Litchfield, 22, who tragically died in the accident. The motorcycle missed a
curve, turned into a wrong lane and was unable to avoid hitting a minivan.
Alycia Gavin is being treated at Massachusetts General Hospital and needs our
prayers. Lord, hear our healing prayers for Alicia as we place our trust in You.

Please pray for Tony and his wife. Tony is a missionary to
San Miguel Allende, Gto., Mexico. He recently was diagnosed with prostrate
cancer and was operated on Monday during a 6 hour operation. During the
operation a large infection was found in his intestines as well. During the
operation which was very intense, his main artery was punctured and he loss a
lot of blood.
He now faces chemo and radiation.
Obviously, he will be in recovery for lengthy period and not able to return to
the mission field until he is well.

Praise God for His Word of Grace. This year’s conference in Baltimore ‘Here we
stand’ was amazing grace in action. Later this summer in Togo we met with all
the leaders together for the doctrine of ‘not moved’.
We just returned from 21 days in Ghana, Togo, and Burkina Faso. We were in 12-14
locations with over 2,700 in attendance for conferences in Lome, Togo; Burkina
Faso; Takoradi, Ghana; and a youth camp in Ashaiman, Ghana.
Thank you for your prayers and encouragement as we go forward – not right, not
left, but straight forward from and into the Word of God and His grace. So many
today turn right and left from the character of God and His precious Word.
Bible college; Bible college! We have a great expectation for September 2009, a
year with a new direction for MBC&S; an exciting year ahead with many new
students and promises from God that are eternal. Great news comes from every
corner of the globe with new students in China, Middle East, South America,
Central Asia etc.
Please continue to pray for us and the straight forward life of God in His Word
of Grace.

I pray feverishly to the Lord for intercession, I desperately need an extern
site, I needed it last Monday, and I still have had no luck. I ask God to help
me find the perfect dental office to extern in so I may complete my needed 180
hours...by September 25th. I must finish these hours, to earn my diploma from
school so that I will be qualified to take the November RDA exam....before the
state changes the pracitcal, written and requirements for that test. It will be
the last chance I have, and if I fail, I will have failed at everything I do. I
am mentally exhausted and overwhelmed from the stress this is causing-plus the
stress of not having an work or income. I am the sole provider for my two kids.
I need God's help. Pray for us please.

My daughter goes to court for a DUI sentencing next week. She is a single mom
of three small children. Her husband died a year ago from leukemia. By the
Grace of God she got off the prescription meds. She and the children need
strength, courage, and prayers that the judge will be lenient so the children do
not lose their mom too.

me to write the requests, and that I won't leave anything out. Also, please
pray for guidance on what prayer chains to send the requests to. Pray that I'll
have internet access, and that it will work well. Pray that God will draw a lot

My mom, who is in her 90's, had skin cancer removed from her leg and now it
won't heal and her whole leg is swollen. It's been like this for a few
months. The doctors don't seem to have an answer. Please pray they would

Relax Molly emotional, she is often very tense that she gives herself headaches,
help her feel compassion for her brother now! – Heal Jackson a 5year old

My parents currently don't have enough income stream to continue paying for our
mortgage. They are old, and it's hard for them to find work.
As for me, I have strained a lot of relationships because all the wrong things
that could have been said have been said. I have isolated myself socially, and
can't seem to get myself out of this rut anymore.

Please pray for a friend of mine who is seeking to take over a church if it is
the lords will she will pastor it. Pray that if it is gods will that the lord
would speak clearly to her and the board members of the church, if it is that
the lord helps her to endure and get wisdom in this.also pray for her
relationship with her family members who are not saved who the devil is working
through to stop her and pray for the emotions that the hurt in this is causing
