Subject: My Husband is 25 with an Anerysm

My Husband had a gun shot wound to his head back in April 06 and he healed from that and in Sept 2006 they found that he had an Anerysm. He has had 2 surgeries for his anerysm. He went in for an Angiogram to make sure it was healed, they said he was 99 percent healed and to come in for a routine Angiogram every 6 months. Well he just had another Angiogram on September 19th and they found that the coils they put in to heal the anerysm has moved. Its not life threatening, if it stays like this for the rest of his life he will be in no danger, if it moves he will need another surgery to put another stent in.
He has been through so much and God has blessed us to have him still and I need your prayers.
Please pray that when they go back to do the Angiogram that nothing has shifted and has healed.

Subject: Healing
I have a friend named Kooter, he was badly beaten for no good reason and put into a coma for 6 months. My reason for prayer request is because I believe Kooter can recover much of what was lost. He speaks sluggishly and his balance is off. His memory isn't all that great, and he harbors some anger because of what happened. I know Christ is a very personal way - and I KNOW Kooter can be healed and restored to his former self. He believes in Jesus, but is "afriad" of establishing a relationship because he has "hurt" before by man - betrayed. I explained to him that Jesus would never do anything to hurt or abandon him...but it is difficult to get through.

Subject: families and salvation
Hello,
Please pray for my son’s family. They are not saved Christians although they belong to a Lutheran church. My son is quite ill and depressed and he refuses to see a doctor. His wife is also not healthy, and she is very strict and does not trust her husband. She checks every step and husband is tired of it. He hasn’t still had relations with any other women, but now he has found someone with whom to talk. It is not adultery yet, but it can turn to be it. He sometimes does things secretly anyway and now he has told his wife that their marriage doesn’t work any more and he has this relation. K has decided to divorce. They have two daughters one – is 7 and the younger – is 7 months old. Please pray that they would come to Christ and as they are not saved, that they could become saved and truly believe in Him. Also please pray that they could receive healing spiritually and physically.
May God bless your prayers and your lives.

There is another family for whom I want to ask you to pray. The old couple is Christians but their younger son is an alcoholic and they suffer under his violence very much. Parents are losing their hope that God is hearing their prayers and wants to save their son. They also have two other sons and their families where there are no Christians. Please pray for that family also

Subject: Need help to witness
I am a Christian who loves Jesus very much. I value opportunities to witness to others about Him and have found that many of these occasions have presented themselves when I am online (on message boards, not chat rooms). I have always liked Star Trek too, so I have found myself on their message board and was heart broken to find that their 10 Forward board, while open to miscellaneous conversations that include discussions on faiths including Christianity, contains among it some of the most vile, profane and blespehmous stuff I have ever seen. If I weren't there to witness, I'd have no business being there, but why should the devil have any victory there at all? When Christianity is being insulted or incorrectly represented, I say something and take the opportunity to tell about Jesus. Here's the problem: I'm not a Bible Scholar, so I feel inadequate for the task of what I think this board really needs and besides that, there are only a few of us there and I need help.
Please pray that the Lord will send a fleet of Christians to represent Him there, to hold Him up to be seen even among a den of wolves. Please pray that the Lord will give me patience, discernment, that the Holy Spirit will inspire me with what I need to say, and that He'll let me know when I've done all I can do and walk away. We really need help there, in a place where agnostics would rather hear somebody talk about claims of the Bible being plagerism rather than to someone who wants to tell them the good news about Jesus. My mother, 82 years old, seems to have suffered another stroke. Now she can’t balance or walk because her right leg goes limp. Also, she isn’t using her limbs on her right side. She seems to be very depressed. My son-in-law has a job interview on Thursday morning. His current job is temporary. My daughter is super-stressed on her job. Two years ago I have taken loans from two-three places and was continuously paying installments. But meanwhile, due to some unavoidable extra expenses at home, I could not pay my installments regularly. Now, the Installments and penalties increased beyond the payable limit. What can I do? Due to lack of money, my family members are not living in peace also. Sometimes, even I have no money for our daily use.
Please pray for me in such a way that I could pay my all debts, pending bills easily and very soon and my family will leave in complete peace and happiness.

My mother just died after an extended illness in hospice. A lot of the responsibilities of the funeral and gathering the family together fall on me now. There's much going on in the family -- indirect ways of grieving, stresses and projections. It's a tense time.
In the middle of this is my 25-year-old son, who is troubled and scared to come to the funeral. He would need to come from New York and he's afraid to fly and afraid he's too fragile for the memorial service.
Can you do a prayer for my family together and my son separately? I would like him to feel a part of the family and at this point he's isolating himself. On the other hand, the family is wound up tight, so I understand his fears.
I would like healing and wholeness for my family and a gentling of fear and dread for my son. I want the maturity to accept his decision.

My brother John is SEVERELY depressed and has talked of suicide. He has been in the hospital twice and his doctor has him on a 2nd round of medications. Unfortunately, I don't think the meds are really helping. He is so full of dispair and so depressed that he won't leave his bed except to go to work (He is a car salesman and it is affecting his job terribly as well). Otherwise, he has virtually imprisoned himself in his home and refuses to see a therapist or attend a day treatment program as recommended by his Doc. His wife is under such stress and emotional pain, trying to save his life and their marriage. This is very traumatic on their two daughters, age 23, and 25 as well. We have tried calling him, visiting, talking to him, sending him positive, humourous and helpful christian books, writing letters - none of which helps. His wife is trying very hard to keep her family together and avoid having to sell the house...she has talked of divorce even, because she is growing so full of despair. My brother has questioned his faith, and left the church...will not listen to anyone. Please pray, and ask all that you know to pray for John that Jesus will intervene and give John the will and desire to get help, and for John's family. They are desperate and need your help now.

It is difficult to describe the condition of my heart and soul at present. BUt suffice it to say I am overwhelmed with grief by the heavy burden of my problems in my personal and work life.
I'm a divorced older woman, struggling to get by on minimal salary. I have a grandchild with an extremely serious eye disease. A friend whom I looked up to, a member of the clergy, has hurt me very, very badly.

hi everyone,
I almost gave up this past weekend on prayer and on God. It feels as if sometimes I am praying into thin air or that my prayers will not be answered and my family will be destroyed. This past week I have had real struggles with my faith and believing Jesus will rescue my family. I know the devil is trying to make me believe that God won't help me and I ask you all for prayers for strength, faith and peace.
My wife and are are still separated, we talk almost daily but I miss her so much tha pain is almost to much sometimes. My wife told me that she thinks she is gay. I pray EVERY single day and night that God will heal and or marriage. After 8 1/2 years I will not give up on her. I know that God is going to save my family but PLEASE pray for me and my wife while this time of healing takes place.
Also please pray for my mother. She is going through radiation treatments for breast cancer. It almost kills me sometimes to see my mother so depressed and sick. please pray for her healing and that God will touch her.

My name is Howard. I am in need of prayer. There are some things I did when in rebellion against God that offended others. Some of those things could have legal consequences resulting in a very long time in prison. In counting the cost of doing the right thing I can see that in some cases confessing may do a great deal of harm to a lot of people whereas in some cases I know that confessing will hurt others but that it is no doubt the right thing to do. I need alot of prayer support. I tend to be extremely hard on myself in some ways while tempted to justify wrong doing in other areas. Pray that I will move in God's grace. The sin I committed is one that is often counted as an unforgiveable sin by many and I will be entering into a lifetime of paying for it according to the standards of the world. I have some degree of fear that I have been battling so please pray that I will move in the confidence of God and His promise to never leave me nor forsake me.
I am asking you to pray for me now but I am asking some of you to put me on your prayer list and to keep me there for the rest of your life that I might be found true to the Lord when all is said and done. Please ask the Lord if there is anyone else to pass this request onto that would make a lifetime committment to pray for a brother in Christ as I desire to be faithful wherever His will takes me. I need His divine protection against the many that would hate me having sinned this way and for grace to endure just consequences AND whatever unjust treatment He might allow for His purposes. Also, please pray that I would be willing to wait and listen for Him before moving so that I can keep in step with His Spirit moving in faith and trust in sober honesty. Above all else pray that I would guard my heart well in wisdom having committed to love God, others, and self.

I am extremely worried and depressed. I am so worried about meeting Ph.D. this Monday morning at 8AM in Tempe, AZ. He is a "mental health specialist". I am so worried and depressed over this whole situation and the accusations they have against me. I am afraid of losing my job, my nursing license and mostly my self-worth. I feeling like giving up. I desperately need your prayers and emotional support. I can hardly hold on. I pray about it but I still feel the same. Actually, I am feeling worse every minute. What is wrong with me? Please pray for Nelly, a Girl from Germany. She is suffering worse from head-neck-joint instability and severe mitochondriopathy. She had a bad childhood, and has been sexual abused. She has no real friends and nobody takes cares of her. And her brain is suffering from mitochondropathy she has derealisation and anyone thinks she should have psychiatric help.
