Daily Devotional for April 14

Jude 21 "Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life."

Psalm 104:34 "My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord."

How is your personal relationship with the Lord?

How is your personal relationship with your spouse?

How is your personal relationship with your friends?

How is your personal relationship at work with others?

How is your personal relationship with your pastor/teacher?

How is your personal relationship with your children?

If our personal relationship with the Lord is right, our life will be filled with victory in Christ Jesus. We will be willing to go the extra mile to keep our relationships at their fullest, because we know the value of Godly relationships. We will walk in the Holy Spirit, building these relationships up as they please the Lord.

Our words will be kind and thoughtful, sharing Christ Jesus' life in each relationship. We do not dump our problems, nor do we let our relationships dump their problems in us; but we build each other up in the Lord. A great relationship will ask the other to pray, without going into the details of the nature of the problem.

Relationships are very important. We all need them. Husbands and wives relationships with one another should be most tenderhearted. They should be growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. They should be expressing their love one to another. The good husband will still open the door for his wife. The good husband will kiss his wife a dozen times a day, and whisper to her that he loves her. That's a relationship.
