Have you been offended?

Psalm 119:165 "Great peace have they which love Thy law: and nothing shall offend them."

Maybe today someone has offended you in some way. Let us turn this statement around. Have you offended someone today? If you have not prayed this morning, with your insulting silence you have offended the Lord. Mankind does not think he is offending the Lord. John 4:23 says, "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him".

Mankind by their own actions offend the Lord. It lives in worry, constantly needing drugs of some sort to calm them down. Mankind will calm down when taking drugs, but let them miss a day, and all kinds of problems happen; they have no peace.

Peace is a gift from the Lord at the day of our salvation. Mankind is always looking, but never finding peace; because it is not in it's nature. Mankind says, "Get education and you will be happy". No, you will want more and more money, which will bring false peace until you have to pay your taxes.

Mankind thinks peace is being busy all the time or listening to music, or going to the movies. Doing, doing, doing, and never being still has no peace. Why? Because mankind does not take the time out to worship the Lord thy God.

Ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart to save you, and deliver you from all your sins. The peace that passes all understanding will come into your being this very day. Cry out to the Lord. He will hear you, that's His promise.
