Daniel 6:20-22 "And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, "O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?" Then said Daniel unto the king, "O king, live for ever. My God hath sent His angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me"."

Christians, have we forgotten that we serve a living, and Almighty God? Our God is always more than able to deliver us. Today is a new day. Are we living in the newness of life? Have we prayed in great expectations?

Today is new; all prayer is new, all of God's love is new, all of God's grace is new. We serve a living God that has His being within us. We only have today to live in the fullness of it. Awake out of your sleep, and believe today is new. Each thing that you do today is new; even shaving your face is new. The very growth on your face is new. You do not shave yesterdays whiskers on your face. You do not use yesterdays shampoo for your hair; it's washed down the drain.

Christianity is new every day; full of hope, full of joy, full of adventure, full of love. Full of grace, full of mercy, full of forgiveness, and full of deliverance from all your fears. We serve a living God that hears and knows all of our thoughts; willing always to help us.

God Almighty doesn't change. If you are sick, He is there with a new day. If you are healthy, He is there with a new day. Rich or poor, He is there with a new day. If your life is dull and boring, it's because you have never experienced the newness of life. Ask Christ Jesus into your heart today to change your life from boring to living and serving.
