Proverbs 23:30-35 "They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his color in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder. Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things. Yes, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast. They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again."

Christian, if you think social drinking is something you can do, you have never been convicted by the Holy Spirit of the powerful wrong it is. You are still fooling yourself in thinking that what the world promotes is OK; is OK for you.

Each drink separates you from the love of God, and from your loved ones. This is how strong drink works over a period of time. You are never satisfied. You will come back for more. If you loved the Word of God as much as a drink, you would be outside sharing the gospel with the lost.

Christian, please don't enter the depths of despair by being disobedient to the Holy Word of God. The only drink the Christian should be having is from the cup of the Lord so that you can be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Christian, please don't be deceived. Satan wants to destroy you little by little; a drink now, and a drink later until you are hooked. Then day after day you will rise to thirst for another drink. Obey Ephesians 5:18 and put the bottle up; replace it with the Holy Bible.
