Isaiah 51:23 "But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over"

Christian, do you mind being the victim? Are you willing to be a door mat to those who have not grown in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ as yet? Christ Jesus was the victim for the whole world. He died on the cross, and asked, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do" in Luke 23:34.

Christ Jesus is our example to live and to die by. He laid his life down for the sins of the whole world. He is still called all kinds of wicked names. People still hate the name of Jesus Christ without cause today. Are you a willing victim or is there murmuring within your heart and soul? Christ Jesus did not murmur, but became the victim; the street for all mankind to walk over as He laid down His life for their sins.

Christian, in the church you attend; do you lay your life down for the new believer by giving him a drink of cold water in Christ Jesus name? Are you the street paved with love for other's sake? Are you willing to be a door mat in your marriage, always willing to give love no matter what?

It's not easy task to be the door mat, for you must be living in the finished work of the grace of God. "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you". 1 Peter 5:10
