Is the Lord's face shining on you?
Daily Devotional for April 28

Numbers 6:24-26 "The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: the Lord make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: the Lord lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace."

The Lord wants to bless us! How have we been acting today? Is a blessing what we deserve? The Lord says He wants to bless us no matter what. Our thought life this very day; did it measure up to purity, or has it been in the gutter of humanity? The Lord wants to bless us.

Driving to work; did we get impatient with the car in front of us? The words we were thinking; would the driver of the other car be blessed by them? This morning when we got out of bed, did we tell our Lord how much we loved Him? Did we pray in the Holy Spirit for our loved ones and ask God to bless them and keep them as He said He would do for us?

The Lord bless thee and keep thee. Do we think to ask the Lord to watch over us while we are driving our car to the work place or just going to the store to pick up some things for lunch?

Each day is set before us a blessing or a curse. The choice is always ours. We can choose life or death. Life is to choose to serve the living God, and death is to serve yourself.

The sinner is always choosing death, because they are separated from God by their own actions. They do not look for God's blessing, but they look to themselves for their own blessings. Mankind is always saying, make yourself better.

The word of God is saying, come to me. I want to bless you out of your socks. Do you want to receive the greatest blessing ever today? Ask Christ Jesus to come in to your heart and forgive you of your sins today. He will.
