The Word
Daily Devotional for August 2

John 1:1-3 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made."

Lord Jesus Christ is the Word of God. He spoke to mankind, first to His own, and they knew Him not. Then He spoke to all of mankind, and today they know Him not.

Make no mistake, Jesus Christ is the total concept of God; total essence or nature of God, for He is God in the flesh. All God and perfect man without sin.

Revelation 19:13 "And He was clothed with a garment dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God."

Christ Jesus created this world and all that is in it.

Christ Jesus the Word is the only means to salvation.

Christ Jesus the Word; it is His blood that cleanseth us from all sin.

Christ Jesus the Word; that has made forgiveness of sins possible.

Praise Him, thank Him, worship Him, abide in Him. Life is full of hope when we are trusting in Him. Love knows no boundaries in Him.

Grace is standing in Him, receiving all the mercy for this day.

Peace is ours when our minds are truly thinking upon Him.
