The Choice is Yours
Daily Devotional for August 6

1 John 5:16 "If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it."

The sin unto death. Denial of Christ with your mouth and in your heart is truly the sin unto death.

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Hell is enlarged every day because people refuse the opportunity to be saved by the blood of God.

Christ Jesus died upon the cross so that mankind could live. Christ Jesus rose again to sit at the right hand of God, to ever live to make intercession for us.

Christ Jesus is living within each believer. The fact of the matter is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit dwell within the believer's life by grace through faith. Each person has a choice; for God Almighty has given them a free will to do the choosing. The choice is yours!

To know Christ Jesus is to know unconditional love. Love that is so tender it whispers to all, "I love you". "I died for you". "I will comfort you". Love so strong that says, "I forgive you".

Come to Christ Jesus, for there is peace at the cross.
