Where is your mind?
Daily Devotional for August 7

Romans 12:1 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."

Let our mind think no evil and it is truly a sacrifice. Our mind should always think on our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus. He died; He rose; He lives; He abides in us. This is what each believer should be thinking on.

Our mind should be occupied with prayer. We should always be in an attitude of prayer to the Father.

Our mind should always be in Philippians 4:8, thinking on whatsoever is lovely. Today is lovely; my job is lovely; our children are lovely; my wife is lovely; our neighbor is lovely. We should study the Word of God. Meditate on the Word.

Romans 8:15 "For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father."

Abba, Father: a personal relationship. God wants us to call Him daddy, father. We are to have a trusting relationship with Him.

1 Corinthians 2:16b "But we have the mind of Christ."

Our mind should be totally surrendered to Christ Jesus.

It is a sad thing to say, but in the United States of America most Christians are occupied with either the details of life, or something that will make them popular or famous. Their mind is caught up in the world system.

Are you convicted? Please simply repent. Jesus loves you. Let Him love you.
