Daily Devotional for August 11

Psalm 41:3 "The LORD will preserve him upon the bed of sickness: Thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness."

Our Lord is with us during the time of sickness, right up to the moment He welcomes us into heaven with Him.

Our Lord sees the suffering saint as being precious in Psalm 116:15 as the one that is suffering. The Lord is there in every laboring breath one may take before he meets the Lord face to face in glory.

Many times the Lord will hear the prayers of others when a loved one is sick, and healing is in the wings; and that person recovers. Please do not get discouraged when sick, because our Lord is there in the midst. He will never leave nor forsake you in your time of need. Maybe someone has cancer. The Lord is there at your sickest moment. He may heal you today. Ask again today, "Lord, please heal me today".

Maybe you have a loved one that is sick unto death and is not saved. Ask the Lord to save your loved one, for you would like them to be in heaven waiting for you. Our Lord has great compassion on the sick and lonely. His hands are reaching out to touch you today.

If you are sick, ask our Lord to reveal His loving presence to you today; for He will comfort you with unbelievable peace and grace in your time of need.

Ask the Lord for abundant grace. Just receive it. Our Lord is good.
