1 Corinthians 15:10 "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."
Many Christians have problems receiving grace into their lives. They find it hard to receive something they can not understand. Grace is a free gift from God that is given to each born-again believer in this world. You notice we use the term born-again believers. For many may call themselves Christians, and do not have the foggiest idea what it truly means to be born-again into the family of God.
We are saved by grace
Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are you saved through faith; and that
not of yourselves: it is the gift of God"
We stand in grace
Romans 5:2 "By whom we have access by faith into this grace wherein
we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God."
We have sufficient grace
2 Corinthians 12:9 "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for
thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore
will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest
upon me."
We have grace on all sides
1 Peter 4:10 "As every man hath received the gift, even so minister
the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God."
We receive grace for grace
John 1:16 "And of His fullness have all we received, and grace for
grace."
We speak in grace
Ephesians 4:29 "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your
mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister
grace unto the hearers."
We grow in grace
2 Peter 3:18 "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and for ever. Amen."
And we serve the God of all grace
1 Peter 5:10 "But the God of all grace, who hath called us into His
eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make
you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you."
Meditate on God's grace for awhile. For about twenty years. Then you may start to get the idea that you are rich in His grace. The riches of grace brings us into the Holiness of His eternal love, the multitude of His mercy, and the depths of His forgiveness.
Christian, is this how you respond to others? Grace for grace. Than you have truly learned how great the grace of God is. Marriages grace for grace. Friendships grace for grace. Children grace for grace. Workplace grace for grace.
