Titus 1:15 "Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled."
The defiled can not understand the precious word of God, because their unconscious is full of the garbage of the world. Their recall on past information is death, because the information has to do with the lust of this world. They can picture in their mind nudity or some other sex perversion, but have no recall on thinking on whatsoever is pure Philippians 4:8.
Their mind is overloaded with ungodly thoughts of this world through conversations, movies, television, computers, or the barroom life. The defiled and unbelieving have little interest in the Holy Bible other than to condemn it. They have no time to read this Holy Book, only time to judge it.
You can tell the defiled and unbelieving that Jesus loves them, and it does not register in the conscious mind because it is full with the things of the unconscious mind.
The pure have a healthy unconscious mind, filled with doctrine: how God thinks. The pure study the Word of God. Their conversation and fellowship is in Christ Jesus. The pure wants nothing to do with sin: satan's independent nature, which is full of pride. The pure are seeking and saving those that are lost. The pure love grace and mercy Lamentations 3:22-23.
