Daily Devotional for August 28

Matthew 6:12 "And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors."
Debts are sins against God. All acts of disobedience against the Word of God are sin. Example:
Hebrews 10:25 "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some: but exhorting one another. And so much the more as you see the day approaching."

This is a command from God not to miss Church services at all. So if you go to Church once a week and miss Sunday night and Wednesday night services you are living in open disobedience to what God has mandated. This is sin. If you are truly saved by the blood of the Lamb you will have to answer at the Bema seat of Christ Romans 14:10.

Now if you are unsaved and godless, you are working for debt.
Romans 6:23a "For the wages of son is death."
You are piling up debt each day of your life and you will give account at the great white throne judgment seat Revelation 20:11-15.

The drug addict has to go out to get his drugs. The drugs don't just fly into his hands. The drug addict has to make a choice against all that is godly.

The unbelieving will be judged for their works against what the Bible calls sin. The believing will be rewarded each time they are obedient to the Bible.

We truly pray that as you read this short devotional you will think. Are you truly obedient to the precious word of God, or are you only playing games? Do you live by every word in the Bible?

Revelation 20:11-15 "And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
