Are you ready?
Daily Devotional for December 1

1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

Jesus Christ is coming back. Will He find us praying and waiting? Or will our minds be so occupied with other things that the rapture of the Church would be an inconvenience for us. Yes, Jesus is coming back for His own. Maybe even this very day. Boy! That would make me very happy.

Do you love the Lord Jesus with all your heart and soul? Are His words, words of life to you?

Are you spending time in prayer, sharing what's on your heart to the Master? Praying for a lost soul, is that on your agenda? Visiting the sick or elderly, is this part of your life?

Do you spend time learning doctrine from your pastor-teacher each time the doors of the Church are opened? Do you like to share the gospel with others? Do you read the word of God daily? Do you believe every word of God to be true? Are you filled with the Holy Spirit moment by moment?

If you answered yes to all these questions, then the rapture of the Church to you must also be "Oh boy!". We are ready for His return.

The joy over this one thought just overwhelms us with great expectations of what heaven will be like; also what it is going to be like to stand in the presence of our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus. Wow!
