Marriage is a gift from God
Daily Devotional for December 2

1 Corinthians 7:5 "Defraud you not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that satan tempt you not for your incontinency."

Marriage is a gift from God so that sex can be properly expressed between husband and wife.

Hebrews 13:4 "Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge."

How many homes have been broken apart because of demon activity in a marriage? The husband or the wife gets mad, and decides to get even with the other by defrauding the marriage bed to the other. Unconditional love, with it's center in Christ Jesus, will not try to manipulate the marriage bed.

So many marriages have turned off love one to another, leaving an emptiness in the home. This causes many walls to go up between the couple. After the walls have gone up, the words of bitterness are expressed daily until one or the other says, "Enough!" They end up in court seeking a divorce.

The courts call this marriage incompatible, but God says this was destroyed by satan's demons. All because one of the partners did not believe that the marriage bed was undefiled, and that marriage is a gift from God.

Marriage is wonderful, sharing two lives together as one flesh; loving one another in the freshness and newness of the Holy Spirit each day.

What great joy when the marriage is one in Christ Jesus! Blessed, blessed are they!
