Daily Devotional for December 17

Jeremiah 17:14 "Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for Thou art my praise."

Matthew 4:23 "And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people."

Exodus 15:26b "For I am the LORD that healeth thee."

1. Hear the voice of the Lord

2. Do what is right in His sight

3. Give ear to His commandments

4. Healing is always a gift from God

5. Abiding in Christ and His words abiding in you.

Meditation on the words of God can also have a calming effect on one's life. When you live meditating on the word of God as you hash it over and over in your mind, the word becomes part of you.

Think on Exodus 15:26b "For I am the Lord that healeth thee."

Get excited, for God is here today to heal someone that reads this daily devotional. Think about that. God is healing today, because "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever." Hebrews 13:8

There is great power in meditating on the word of God. There is great truth to learn as we meditate on the word of God. There is great hope for one who meditates on God's words in sickness.

Psalm 41:3 "The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness."

Study the words God has spoken about healing. It will help in some way. Praise Him!!
