Friend of the world
Daily Devotional for December 18

James 4:4 "You adulterers and adulteresses, know you not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God."

Do you say to yourself, "What's so bad about being friends of this world? After all, we live in it every day of our lives".

Lets take a walk through the pages of the Bible to Revelation 12:10 "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night".

Satan is the accuser of all born-again blood bought Christians that believe in the total word of God.

Satan has gone about deceiving the whole world into thinking mankind can have peace on earth. Of course, they use force to those that oppose them.

Satan has deceived mankind through false religions and humanism into believing that there are many roads to heaven, or if you do good works, heaven's door opens unto them.

Revelation 12:9a "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil, and satan, which deceiveth the whole world"

Most all of mankind lives deceived by satan into thinking that the word of God is their enemy; but in reality God wants to be our friend. A deceived heart knows no spiritual truth.
