What's the sign written over your heart?

Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

The unsaved and the false religions do not think upon the Lord Christ Jesus as their personal Saviour.

The fact of the matter is, most people only think on what is going on in their lives personally. They do not give our Lord Jesus any room in their soul and spirit. They may live a full life to themselves, and do many good things, and still only have their portion is this life.

There is no doubt when Isaiah penned these words that God was using him to tell us the Saviour was going to be born. He was born in Beth-lehem.

Luke 2:6-7 "And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn."

Mankind today, for the most part, still has no room for the Saviour in their heart.

At Christmas time you will see many signs wanting you to buy something in their stores. The signs will read "Xmas Specials". The sadness of this whole thing is, many people have the same sign written over their hearts.

Xmas.

No room for the Saviour Christ Jesus.
