John 1:3 "All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made."

Colossians 1:17 "And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist."

As our Lord laid in the manger, all things were made by Him. The hay that He was lying on. The wood of the feed trough. The very air He was breathing was made by Him. The stars in heaven and the night He was born. All created by Him.

The Christians that love the Lord Jesus don't stop thinking about His birth because it's the next day. They don't go into deep depression because they didn't receive the present they wanted, because they have the gift of eternal salvation by His birth and His resurrection.

Personally, I wonder how many people yesterday sat at their dinner tables completely void of prayer and thanksgiving for the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are created for His pleasure. He loves to hear the prayers of the saints. He loves to see the Christians growing in grace and knowledge. He loves to see the Christians reading the word of God. He loves to see the Christians fellowshipping around His word. He loves it when the Christians say, "I love you Jesus, and I give you all the honour and glory".

Jesus loves it when we go to the Father for help in the time of need.

He created us to be happy and content in Him.
