Remember the days we went to Sunday School to learn about Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, King David, Abraham, Daniel and many other Biblical leaders? The fun we had with picnics and all sorts of games? Today many children do not have these pleasant experiences. They are brought up in a busy household, or maybe even in a household of unbelievers. Too many parents think Christianity is not the right thing for their children.

Christianity teaches that God is love, marriage is blessed, morals are important, and the wages of sin is death. We live by grace, we walk in mercy, and we forgive others of their sins. To remember the creator when we are young helps us to have a greater understanding of spiritual things. Children that have no biblical training learn other things. They live in their old sin nature (satan's independent nature), living a natural life good or bad all because their parents never considered the importance of the Word of God.

Deuteronomy 6:5-9 "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shall talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them down upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates."

The day that Christ Jesus becomes Lord and Savior in your life is the day of the New Birth. You become filled with the Holy Spirit and now you have a great hunger and thirst to learn of spiritual things. People that are never born again from above may have a hunger, but it is not for the Word of God.

Come to Christ Jesus and come out of darkness.
