What did you Say?

Isaiah 59:2 "But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear."
Iniquities - They go against God's plan, against God's purpose, against God's provision, separating you from Him.
What is sin? All acts of disobedience against what the Word of God says. The very second you say, "That's only that person's opinion. I can think and speak the way I want to." Do you hear the way people speak at your work; both men and women using God's name in vain (Exodus 20:7)? That, my friends, is sin. The language you hear when going to the movies; the language you hear from many young people is all sin.
Matthew 12:37 "For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned."
People that are not born again do not care if they are hurting the heart of God by their mouth. The fact of the matter is they don't care who they hurt by their mouth. No Christian should ever use the Lord's name in vain. One of the first things God will do when a person is saved and born again is to clean up his or her mouth.
The telltale sign that one is a Christian is what comes out of their mouth. Are they sharing Christ Jesus or the things of this world? Many people say they are Christians, but their actions and speech betray them. Their mouth is not sanctified by God; set apart for God's work, Holy and acceptable.
Please don't let your mouth be full of iniquities. Ask the Lord to be the Lord of your mouth.
