Daily Devotional for
February 28
Matthew 18:3-4 "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven."
The humble will hear the word of God and believe it, and will also obey it. They have no problems, for every word they hear they mix with faith, and season with grace. They are glad when they come into the house of the Lord. Their priority is to be at Church every time it's open. They live in great expectation that they will receive a blessing when the word of God is preached. They feed on the preached word, growing in grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus their Lord. They are learning to be content in whatsoever state they are in.
The humble live in the love of God, wanting to share the great news of the resurrection and the power of Christ Jesus. Their thoughts are Philippians 4:8 and their life is 1 Corinthians 13:8a, "Love never faileth."
The humble loves their spouse with all the love they have. They love their children and bring them up in the Lord. They will always try to build up others who are hurting. The humble have a heart after God. They know they are not perfect, but they have learned to go to God and repent 1 John 1:9 and start afresh from that instant.

1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
