To Seek and To Save
Daily Devotional for January 31

Luke 19:10 "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."

There was a time in my life when I was a Sunday believer in God, who believed in Jesus, believed in the birth and resurrection; but still knew down deep inside that something was lacking. Walking by some people, I could tell they were different. The night I asked Christ Jesus into my heart is the night I knew what it was. The Holy Spirit activated my spirit to become alive and to respond to the word of God in faith. There was a great hunger and thirst for the word of God. The hunger and thirst is still there.

Christ Jesus uses us to share the great news of the gospel. Jesus said in Matthew 11:30 "For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light". It is not hard to share the gospel with a lost soul; just open your mouth and the Lord will fill it.
