Are you Rooted in Good Soil?

Ephesians 3:17 "That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love"

Many Christians have grown weary in every battle against the kingdom of darkness because they have forgotten to put on some part of their spiritual armor. After a while a different kind of root starts growing, which causes them to withdraw and become negative. The root did not seem like much at first, but as it's roots grew; distraction became a way of life. The Christian now becomes occupied with the details of life, leaving behind the road paved with love.

Hebrews 12:15 "Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled"

Satan's trap is to get a loving Christian so busy that they forget their spiritual armor. He then attacks their mind with his spirit of bitterness, leading them astray.

Put on the whole armor of God daily. Put on the new man daily. Put on uncreated life daily. Put on the Lord Jesus Christ daily. Ask God Almighty for His unconditional love, grace, mercy and forgiveness daily. If a Christian remembers to do these simple life giving things, he or she shall live in the Holy Spirit that makes them more than conquerors for this day.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints"
