Ephesians 6:18 "Praying always, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints"

The very first sign in a believer's life that they are in trouble is the lack of communication with God. Their prayer life is very limited. They may go to the prayer altar, but they wrestle within their spirit and find no peace. They are somehow quenching the Spirit.

The unbeliever on the other hand sees prayer as weakness, and useless. Therefore they don't even pray over their meals they eat. They do not thank God for anything. They will say, "I have done all this by myself". The unbeliever is already living outside of God's will. They live in a defensive lifestyle, saying things like "God has condemned every one that doesn't believe", "God is unfair" and "He only chooses whom He wills".

The unbeliever does pray many times, but doesn't realize it. Each time they use God's name in vain, they pray for God to condemn the person they are talking about.

The believer loves to pray, for they know that the Living God is there to hear and to answer, "Yes" or "No". The believer that is sold out to Christ Jesus starts each day in prayer, and ends each night in prayer. Prayer to the believer is part of their life; just as eating, drinking and sleeping.

The believer does not need someone to tell them, "It's time to pray", but the Holy Spirit will lead them into prayer many times during the day for others.
