Who are you serving?

Matthew 6:24 "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You can not serve God and mammon."
Are you one that has to "keep up with the Jones"? A new house and all that goes with it. A new car, boat, pool, and summer place on the lake. All for the kids, of course. Are your Saturdays and Sundays filled with so much activity that you do not have time to think? Are you on the go so much during the week that your life is just a blur? You are a servant to mammon, all the way locked into a system of works to promote your life style.
People that are locked into serving mammon may not hate God, but live in insulting silence to Him. These people may go to Church once in awhile and put a couple of dollars in the offering plate, and walk away thinking themselves justified. This is that attitude of all self righteous people.
When one is serving the Living God, they are at Church every Sunday and Sunday evening. They listen to every word of God as it's being preached. They are happy to share the gospel with others. They love the Lord with all their heart. They serve the Lord with gladness. They are cheerful givers. They know that the second they die, they are in heaven. Christ Jesus is their Lord and Master while here on earth.
