Daily Devotional for July

Matthew 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt has lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."
Salt: The resurrection life of Christ Jesus in our lives as truly born again Christians.
Salt: The amount of categorical doctrine stored in a believer's soul, spirit and mind. Salt also preserves the categorical doctrine that is stored in a believer's soul, spirit and mind.
Without salt to preserve the word of God in one's life, they are under the influence of the demons of the atmosphere. They are easily tossed to and fro at the drop of a hat. Their life is full of emotional ups and downs, thinking in the negative realm; causing pain to their mind and spirit.
Salt was and still is used as a preservative in many meats and vegetables. The word of God when taken freely into the human mind and transferred to the soul and spirit becomes a great preservative against the old sin nature. The word of God can keep us healthy in mind and body, because of the peace it brings into the soul and spirit and mind.
We can have faith rest in the arms of the Living God, for He cares for us.
Are you saved? Are you washed in His blood? Are you a child of the Living God? Come to Christ Jesus today and be saved so that you can be salt for others.
