Do you live in Fear?
Daily Devotional for July 17

Psalm 34:4 "I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears."

Job said in Job 3:25, "For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me". There is well over a hundred kinds of fear. Which one might you be living in? Better still, how many kinds of fear are you living in?

King David said with great confidence that when he sought the Lord he was delivered from all his fears.

We would have all thought that King David being a man of war, a killer of a giant and a lion, would have no fears. He did have fear, and he knew who to go to in the times of fear.

1 John 4:18 "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."

King David must have loved our Lord very much. Love always has a great sense of trust within it's realm.

Do you love the Lord enough to cast all of your fears upon Him? Or do you take things to try to calm yourself down? Come to Christ Jesus. He can give you rest from all your fears at once! Do not let the devil rule over you with his spirit of fear.

If you are not saved, come to Christ Jesus today. Ask Him to be your Saviour now.
