What's the condition of your mind?
Daily Devotional for July 20

Hebrews 9:14 "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?"

Is your mind overactive with the details of life, so that there is no room for meditation on the Lord? Do you spend hours leaning on your own understanding, trying to figure out why you are in the state you are in? Are you one who thinks someone is mad at you, and do you spend hours thinking and rethinking why that person may be mad at you?

The amount of time spent on thinking on other things is the exact amount of time you are spending in the dead works program with satan.

Psalm 109:6 "Set thou a wicked man over him: and let satan stand at his right hand."

We have learned that the right hand means fellowship with God, but when one lives in the dead works program his or her fellowship is with none other than satan.

There is nothing sadder than to see a person overwhelmed with the details of life. They are tossed to and fro by the wiles of the devil. Their unconscious mind is full of the things of this world. They are unable to receive the word of God. Negativity has become their way of life.

This person needs to have their unconscious, their subconscious and their conscious mind cleansed by the blood of the Lamb.
