Daily Devotional for July 23

Revelation 22:18-19 "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and the things which are written in the book."

Do you try to change what God has said about sin?

Are you one that says there are many roads to heaven?

Do you read another book that says it helps you to understand this Holy Bible?

Mankind is always trying to find other ways to heaven. The Holy Bible says there is only one way and that is believing in Christ Jesus as your Saviour.

John 14:6 "Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: No man cometh unto the Father, but by Me."

The religious person may believe his religion gets him to heaven. These thoughts are totally false! Christ Jesus is the only way.

The person that does all kinds of good works may think he or she will go to heaven, but they know no truth. Christ Jesus is the truth.

The person born into a Christian home may think they will go to heaven because their parents believed in Christ Jesus as their Saviour, but unless that person asks Christ Jesus into their heart personally they don't know Christ Jesus as the life.
