James 1:19 "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath"

Praise God in the morning as you start out your day. Be swift to hear what the Master bids you to do today. Ask our Lord for wisdom for what you should listen to, and to what conversation you should stay away from.

Ask the Lord to fill you with the Holy Spirit so if anyone comes your way today, your heart and soul will be in Christ Jesus.

We should speak only words that will build others up. Tell them of the love of God that leads down the path of mercy and grace. Speak kindness to your wife and children. Words that edify. Speak of the love you have for them, for they need to be built up in the Lord daily.

My dad always said to me, "Son, if you can not say good about the person you are talking about, do yourself a favor and keep your mouth closed". Our speech has a lot of power behind it. Please choose words that will edify others; because some day you will need to be built up also.

Have you looked at the sky and seen it's beauty? Have you looked at a little baby and seen the beauty of the Lord's creation? Have you thanked God Almighty for this very day?

Are you born again truly? Have you asked Christ Jesus in to your heart? Please do it today.
