Daily Devotional for June 8

Revelation 21:27 "And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."

Are you written in the Lamb's book of life? Have you asked Christ Jesus into your heart to redeem you from your sins? Are you living to please the risen Saviour?

Twenty seven times in the book of Revelation the Lamb is mentioned. The Lamb is the Son of God who died and rose again for the sins of the world. If you are reading this daily devotional and do not believe that Christ Jesus died for your personal sins, then you will enter eternity lost. You are not written in the Lamb's book of life because of pride and deception on the devil's part.

Revelation 12:9b "Satan, which deceiveth the whole world."

Unsaved people can be saved just by asking Christ Jesus into their heart.

2 Corinthians 6:2 "For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored thee: behold, Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."

Today is the day you can cast off the works of darkness and step into the glorious light by asking Christ to be your Saviour. This is the greatest day in a person's life when he or she is born again.

The old saying is you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. All this daily devotional is trying to do is to lead you to the living water, Christ Jesus. To drink is totally your decision.
