One Body
Daily Devotional for June 15

Ephesians 4:4-6 "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one Faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all."

The Body of Christ Jesus is made up of all that confess Christ Jesus to be their personal Saviour. They live and eat the Word of God for their daily bread. They study and meditate on His Word. They love their brothers and sisters in Christ. They have learned Christ, so that when they are sharing with other Christians, denominations do not become a barrier. They share Christ Jesus, and His love. Oneness is the center of their conversation. They build others up in the Lord by faith.

The Body of Christ has many members, not just a select few. Our Lord must cry when you have believers teach that you must have this gift, or you must go to this Church, or you must first do this in order to be saved and belong to us.

The Body of Christ is His eyes, His feet, His mouth to share the gospel with others. The Body of Christ has it's hand out to all that believe in Christ Jesus to be their Saviour.

1 Corinthians 12:12-14 "For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we are all baptized into one body - whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free - and been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many."

Christ Jesus paid the price so that all born again believers can be one right now on earth. Ask Christ Jesus into your heart today, and become part of the Body of Christ.
