Children, Honour your Parents

Exodus 20:12 "Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee."

Ephesians 6:4 "And, you fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord."

The dad is responsible for setting the rules of their home. Mom is an extension of Dad's authority in the home. The dad is to teach the children how to pray; he is the example.

Today's generation in this world on the most part do not teach the children anything out of the Holy Bible. Parents are instructed by God Almighty to teach their children.

Deuteronomy 6:7 "And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up."

The parents that do not teach their children of God's love and mercy are teaching them other things, just as their ungodly parents taught them. These parents are living without hope and passing it on to their children.

One of the saddest statement parents make in this country is, "Let my child decide for him or herself." In reality that ungodly parent is teaching them how to be godless.

The Holy Bible is the word of God whether or not one believes it. The parents will stand before God Almighty one day and will be asked, "Did you teach your child out of this book? Did you have respect enough for this book so that you taught your child of My love, or have you cursed your child willfully as your parents willfully cursed you?"

It is not too late. Turn to Christ Jesus and learn of Him,. Ask Him into your heart today so that generational curse can be broken Exodus 20:5. Teach your children out of the greatest book ever written; the Holy Bible. Lead them to Christ Jesus also.
