Love will pass the test of time

John 13:35 "By this shall all know that you are My disciples, if you have love one to another."

Love has no hate in it. We are to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and being. We are to love our wives in the same manner, and the wives are to love their husband in the same manner. If the marriage is founded on God's love, it will pass the test of time. Love does not just put up with a person; it is actively loving that person. Love will not get tired of being around a person, for Divine love is living in uncreated life with all the freshness of a summer breeze.

Love is the first fruit of the Holy Spirit given to a believer that is full of the Holy Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23. Spirit filled love doesn't go to a court room seeking a divorce, because Divine love has no hate. If a marriage breaks down, it is because satan has gotten in with his lies; and caused love to be trampled upon. Satan is the one that puts into the mind of one that is seeking a divorce evil thoughts, evil actions, evil words, with evil results.

Our heart goes out to the innocent party. The one that still loves no matter what. It is not their fault that satan got in and ruined their marriage. The victim is the one that needs Divine love to help during a mighty hurtful time.

Love can and will heal a broken heart.
