Daily Devotional for June 28

Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever."

Hebrews 13:5b "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

No matter how we feel, the truth is Jesus Christ our Lord will not leave us for one moment; no, not ever. The feelings and emotions can not think, so the devil uses them to fool us into thinking out Lord does not care. The devil uses discouragement in a Christian's life to deceive them into thinking our Lord does not care.

Our Lord uses discouragement in our lives to produce godliness with contentment.

A dark time may be upon us today and our feelings and emotions are a wreck, but please remember out Lord's promise, "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee" not for a moment.

Jesus Christ is always saying, "Come to me and I will strengthen you in your time of great need". The problem is, sometimes we are going through a dark time and we forget to lean on our Lord, and end up leaning on our own understanding. We go back to created life thinking, "Why has this happened to me?" Our feelings and emotions take over and we end up in the blame game; looking to find fault.

If we are living in uncreated life for this day, we will be seeking our Lord's face on our knees; knowing our Lord is right at hand. We will be drawing from all of heaven's love in our time of need.

Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."
