If and you will
SonLight Pastor's Thoughts for June 2001

If a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing
He deceiveth himself. (Galatians 6:3)

If you do not believe the Word of God,
Your Sundays will be full of other things to do.

If you say, "I will believe the way I want to",
You will end up saying, "I can worship God in nature today".

If your conscience is controlled by unbelief,
Your thoughts will be controlled by lustful feelings.

If your job and your money run your train,
Your life will be full of "what more can I own".

If your body is your temple,
Your mirror and your scale will be your life.

If pride is the source of your life,
You will compare yourself with others, always coming out on top.

If fame and fortune has been your lot,
Most likely your end will be despair and loneliness.

If you have trouble reading these thoughts,
It's because of conviction from the Holy Spirit.

If you are saved and have truly been born again,
You did some of these very things.

If we have denied ourselves and picked up our cross daily,
Grace and mercy are now our friends.

If we are obedient to the Word of God,
We love our wives, and tell them so by hugging and kissing them.

If your heart is right, we will walk in His love, as Jesus Christ loves us.
If we study the Word of God, truth is now our companion.
If we have learned how valuable we are in the sight of Jesus Christ,
Happy we will always be.
