Grace of God
Daily Devotional for March

John 1:16-17 "And of His fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ".
Grace - A favor freely done without claim or expectation of anything in return. Grace depends on the giver totally. God is the grace giver; all we have to do is receive it. 2 Corinthians 9:8 says, "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work".
Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God".
When we fall or fail, we fall into the arms of grace. We are always standing in His grace. Let's get excited about the grace of God! I am what I am by the grace of God. We are motivated by the grace of God to share the gospel with others. The grace Christian willingly receives this grace that sets them free to live in truth, which also sets us free.
Grace will not put us in the "do's" and "don'ts" of the law. We will not try to produce something. We will live in grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. When we wake up in the morning we will be praising God and thanking Him for all that He is doing in our lives. We will not be trying to overcome our flesh. We will believe Galatians 2:20 which says, "I am crucified with Christ" and live in great expectation of "something good is going to happen".
The finished work of grace will be my starting point each morning. We will be asking God to send more grace today than yesterday. Grace, having all sufficiency, will be what our minds will be occupied with. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus will truly be the sweetest name we hear.
Bible References (KJV)
Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me".
