Daily Devotional for March 7

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 "Know ye not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are".

Mankind worries about their looks, weight, height. They worry about where they will live, what kind of car they have. The job they have is most important. The number of children they have. Mankind tries to plan out their lives to a tee. They even take care in where they go to supper. Mankind is very busy planning. They even plan what church they will go to if they are not too busy on a Sunday. Mankind will not like Bible verses like these. They will make sure they do not attend churches that preach the word of life. They will also say negative statements against churches that are Bible centered.

Who created mankind? God Almighty created man and woman to worship Him, and praise Him and love Him. God created mankind so that He could abide in them. He has left the Bible for a road map of life. You will hear mankind say they don't believe the Bible. My question is, has mankind read the Bible? The answer is mostly no. This is why they do not understand the love of God. If you never read a book how would you know what's in it? If you never had ears to hear the word of God how can you judge it? The unsaved man will say in this day "That is the far right talk". But all of this is mankind speaking without the knowledge of what is in this book; the Bible. Most of mankind does not think that God can live within their being. They would rather believe the lie than the truth.
