Hebrews 4:16 "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need".

Let's just sit back for a moment and think about grace. Grace is given to every believer abundantly when we are in need. A loved one may be very sick for a while, and our routine has to be changed to help this one we love. This is when God Almighty will extend great grace so that we can handle the details of life.

Romans 11:6a "And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace".

Mankind thinks it can work it's way to heaven by doing good works. A works program over the course of time becomes a hard duty. You have to strive to do more and more. If you have no recognition in what you are doing you will stop, and proceed to do something else; because a works program has no life.

When we are doing things by the grace of God we have a source outside of ourselves that fills the inside of us with great joy in doing things for others. The strength we have is given from above. We don't get tired, nor do we expect recognition in what we do. We do these things because the love of God is being shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit daily. We count what we do as unto the littlest one in the Kingdom of God. We know that all the things we do must first start on our knees at the throne room of Grace each morning.

As Christ Jesus gave grace for grace, let us be willing to do the same.
