No murmuring, please
Daily Devotional for March 14

Philippians 2:14 "Do all things without murmurings and disputings"

Exodus 15:24 "And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?"

These are the people that just saw God Almighty's hand open the Red Sea and bring them safely through it. They were singing praises three days earlier, but now they murmured because the lack of water.

Has God just brought you through a great trial? Now a few days later you are murmuring again. The nation of Israel were called children because they lacked maturity when it came to testing their faith. God has that right to test us to see if we are in the faith.

When people are murmurers they tend to be also disputers. They will always argue their rights to the tenth degree. Murmurers will always look on the bad side of every thing. They are not pleasant people to be around. They are people that tear down others, because they are influenced by the god of this world - satan.

Satan uses murmurers in churches to tear down the Pastor/Teacher. Satan knows that he used murmuring with the nation of Israel and it worked every time. Satan loves to get into the home and cause a spirit of murmuring in the teens, or the husband, or wife, because he knows that murmuring will cause defeat. Most Christians do not even recognize that the spirit of murmuring is from the devil. This is why satan causes so much confusion in the home.

Please do not let yourself be deceived by this wicked spirit. Ask the Lord for help. He can change a murmurer into a praiser.
