Psalm 142:2 "I poured out my complaint before Him; I showed before Him my trouble".

Yes, we can come to the Lord with all our complaints; for He has big shoulders. He will listen most gladly to all our troubles. The problem is that we do not go to the Lord, but to others with our complaints. We try to get someone to agree with us that "It's too hard to be a Christian". "God always demands too much of you". "We are to be too perfect". These are some of the complaints you have.

Maybe there is some sin in your life causing broken fellowship with the Lord. This could be the problem you feel. So instead of getting right with the Lord you go and find others that complain the same way. You end up in a pity party all depressed and upset that the Lord is not treating you fairly.

The word of God says, "I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears" in Psalm 34:4, and Psalm 34:17 says, "The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles". The Lord can be trusted at all times to help those that come to him in time of need. He is even kind unto the unthankful and the evil in Luke 6:35b. This is the Lord's attitude at all times. He is always willing to listen to all our complaints with a loving and kind understanding. The Lord is continually giving grace and mercy to those who come in time of need.

Yes, from time to time we may have complaints because of a lack of understanding; but the Lord is faithful to care for us. Jesus Christ says, Come unto me and I will give you rest.
