What have you left undone?
Daily Devotional for March 18

Luke 6:46 "And why call me Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?"

Have you prayed for your neighbor next door to you? The word of God says "Love thy neighbor as thyself" in Matthew 19:19b. Have you left this undone?

Have you ever shared the gospel with others? The word of God says in Matthew 28:19, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit". Is this left undone?

Are you at church every Sunday sitting under one Pastor/Teacher, or are you too busy with the family? Hebrews 10:25 says, "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching". Have you left this undone?

Husbands do you love your wives more today than when you first were married? When is the last time you told her how important she is to you? How about flowers; do you send her flowers any more? The word of God says in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it". Have you left this undone?

Have you told the Lord lately how much you love Him? Are you singing and praising Him for all the good things He has given you? Are you happy? The word of God says in Nehemiah 8:10b "For the joy of the Lord is your strength". Is this left undone?

Life is too precious to go through it with things left undone. Come to Christ Jesus and you will find rest for your soul.
